I don't have a LinqToXsdSchema build option (VS2012) -- is there a configuration issue?

I'm working on a sample project that uses an xml file and an xsd file -- then I will use Linq to read the xml file. I'm trying to build the xsd but I don't have a LinqToXsdSchema build option (I'm using Visual Studio 2012 -- .Net framework 4.5). Is there a different build option I need to select? Is there a configuration I need to modify? Is there a workaround?
